Wells information

AXL ELISA Kit (Human) : 96 Wells (OKCA00131)

OKCA00131 96 Wells
EUR 1015.2
Description: Description of target: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Tyro3-Axl-Mer (TAM) receptor tyrosine kinase subfamily. The encoded protein possesses an extracellular domain which is composed of two immunoglobulin-like motifs at the N-terminal, followed by two fibronectin type-III motifs. It transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding to the vitamin K-dependent protein growth arrest-specific 6 (Gas6). This gene may be involved in several cellular functions including growth, migration, aggregation and anti-inflammation in multiple cell types. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants of this gene. ;Species reactivity: Human;Application: ;Assay info: Assay Methodology: Quantitative Sandwich Immunoassay;Sensitivity: < 7.81 ng/mL

AMBP ELISA Kit (Mouse) : 96 Wells (OKCA00132)

OKCA00132 96 Wells
EUR 811.2
Description: Description of target: This gene encodes a fusion protein that undergoes proteolytic processing to generate two mature proteins: alpha-1-microglobulin (A1m) is a heme-binding plasma glycoprotein of the lipocalin superfamily of proteins that bind to hydrophobic molecules, whereas bikunin belongs to the superfamily of Kunitz-type protease inhibitors. The transgenic mice specifically lacking bikunin, but not A1m, exhibit female infertility and an increased sensitivity to lung metastasis.;Species reactivity: Mouse;Application: ;Assay info: Assay Methodology: Quantitative Competitive Immunoassay;Sensitivity: < 0.649 ng/mL

APOE ELISA Kit (Mouse) : 96 Wells (OKCA00134)

OKCA00134 96 Wells

Description: Description of target: This gene encodes a member of the apolipoprotein A1/A4/E family of proteins. This protein is involved in the transport of lipoproteins in the blood. It binds to a specific liver and peripheral cell receptor, and is essential for the normal catabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein constituents. Homozygous knockout mice for this gene accumulate high levels of cholesterol in the blood and develop atherosclerosis. Different alleles of this gene have been associated with either increased risk or a protective effect for Alzheimer's disease in human patients. This gene maps to chromosome 7 in a cluster with the related apolipoprotein C1, C2 and C4 genes.;Species reactivity: Mouse;Application: ;Assay info: Assay Methodology: Quantitative Competitive Immunoassay;Sensitivity: < 1.56 ng/mL

APOB ELISA Kit (Mouse) : 96 Wells (OKCA00135)

OKCA00135 96 Wells
EUR 771.6
Description: Description of target: This gene product is the main apolipoprotein of chylomicrons and low density lipoproteins. It occurs in plasma as two main isoforms, apoB-48 and apoB-100. Unlike the apoB-48 and apoB-100 structural equivalents in human, which are synthesized exclusively in the gut and liver, respectively, the mouse apoB-48 isoform is also found in mouse liver. The intestinal and the hepatic forms of apoB are encoded by a single gene from a single, very long mRNA. The two isoforms share a common N-terminal sequence. The shorter apoB-48 protein is produced after RNA editing of the apoB-100 transcript at residue 2179 (CAA->UAA), resulting in the creation of a stop codon, and early translation termination.;Species reactivity: Mouse;Application: ;Assay info: Assay Methodology: Quantitative Competitive Immunoassay;Sensitivity: < 0.039 ug/mL

APOE ELISA Kit (Rabbit) : 96 Wells (OKCA00227)

OKCA00227 96 Wells
EUR 771.6
Description: Description of target: Chylomicron remnants and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) remnants are rapidly removed from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis in the liver. ApoE is essential for the normal catabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein constituents. The APOE gene is mapped to chromosome 19 in a cluster with APOC1 and APOC2. Defects in apolipoprotein E result in familial dysbetalipoproteinemia, or type III hyperlipoproteinemia (HLP III), in which increased plasma cholesterol and triglycerides are the consequence of impaired clearance of chylomicron and VLDL remnants.;Species reactivity: Rabbit;Application: ;Assay info: Assay Methodology: Quantitative Competitive Immunoassay;Sensitivity: < 3.9 ng/mL
